Welcoming Biba & Their Natural Leather Bags

We have a new brand which we think fits right in with our ethos and delivers what our customers want. Biba is a Spanish Company which produces beautiful, unique leather bags.

Their first collections were brought out in 2011 in Barcelona. Their aim was to offer fashion leather bags to people who appreciate quality, comfort and design, the sort of people who grow through their experiences, respect their environment and look for responsible consumption.  We feel that our customers, are exactly that!

‘Looking towards tomorrow, but without forgetting yesterday.’ This is the philosophy that is applied in BIBA’s production: artisan manufacturing processes that lead to a result adapted to the needs of current users.  Braiding, embroidery and macrame are some of the processes used to create an individual personality for each line.

‘At BIBA we believe that the environment in which we live is a gift that we must take care of. Therefore, we try to improve all our processes to be increasingly respectful of our planet.’ This is what we at Charity Farm look for when we are researching new brands to sit alongside our existing ones.

Natural leather is used to make their bags, and vegetable extract of chestnut ‘quebracho’ and mimosa are used in the tanning process rather than synthetic chemicals and heavy metals for more than 70% of the products.
