One of the quintessential perks of the countryside is, of course, being surrounded by an array of wildlife. If you are looking to attract a bit more action to your outside space, we can help. We stock a range of bird feeds & treats, feeders and nesting boxes.
Seasonally, we offer feed for hedgehogs, as well as nesting boxes and houses for bees, ladybirds, butterflies, insects, bats and hedgehogs. If we don’t have what you’re looking for you can always ask at the counter, and we may be able to order some products in.

The National Trust Birch Log Nest Box is, as the name suggests, made from a natural birch log which makes it perfect for those who prefer a more natural look. The 32mm hole size is most suitable for a variety of Tits and smaller birds.
There is a shortage of natural nesting sites, which is thought to be one of the major factors behind the decline of some of our once most-common birds. By putting up nest boxes, such as this, which replicates a bird’s natural nesting preferences, you can encourage them to breed near your home.
Now is a great time to put a bird box before the nesting season in March. Birds are traditionally thought to have paired up by Valentine’s Day and are looking for shelter.
